Her artistic journey began in New York City, where she immersed herself in music and dance, training at Premier Dance Theater Academy, Broadway Dance Center, and Soho’s Abizaid Arts. Later, in Miami, Claudia expanded her career as a professional vocal coach, songwriter, music producer, and sound engineer. She studied Sound Engineering at SAE Miami and earned an Associate of Arts in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, combining her creative artistry with technical expertise.
Claudia’s vision has always been bigger than the norm. Vidamuzzic specializes in cultivating raw, unsigned talent and supporting signed, seasoned artists. Many of her students and clients have gone on to achieve their goals and thrive in their artistic journeys thanks to her mentorship and coaching.
Music runs in Claudia’s blood. Influenced by her father, Enrique Perez Morel (“Cibao”), an early member of the Latin Grammy-winning group Milly y los Vecinos, Claudia grew up with a profound love and respect for music of all genres. Her own career as a singer/songwriter took flight with her first album, released under Allen Street Records, where she co-wrote 7 of the 10 tracks. The album found success across New York, Puerto Rico, and Europe, establishing her as a rising voice in the industry.
Today, Claudia is the heart and soul of Vidamuzzic International, where she continues to coach, mentor, and empower artists through her exclusive VMI Stopwatch Method™, while also working on her latest creative project, “Pitita.”
Vidamuzzic Vocal Coaching & Artist Development was founded in 2004 by Claudia Perez, also known as Claudia Mia. For nearly two decades, Claudia has been mentoring and developing both new and seasoned artists from around the world — online, in the recording studio, and inside her own vocal studio.
