ABOUT RAPVOX TEEN
RapVox Teen is a mentorship and training program for teenagers (approximately ages 13–18) who are passionate about hip-hop, rap, or spoken word poetry. This is a creative safe space for teens to develop their voice and style while connecting with peers who share their interests. We dive deeper into lyricism – exploring how to write about personal experiences, social issues, or just clever wordplay that wows an audience.
Teens practice performing their pieces, receive constructive feedback, and even learn basic recording techniques to create demo tracks. RapVox Teen also addresses the mindset of an artist: we talk about using music as a positive outlet, handling stage nerves, and developing your unique identity in your art.
From cypher sessions that build camaraderie, to occasional friendly battle rap events that teach quick thinking, RapVox Teen balances skill-building with self-expression and empowerment. Our teen rappers often become leaders in their school arts communities, talent shows, or online music circles. We emphasize respect in lyrics and camaraderie in competition, fostering an environment where teens uplift each other. By the end of the program, participants have a portfolio of original material, performance experience, and a strong sense of who they are as young artists.
✨ A Note from the Founder
“Teenagers are in one of the most powerful seasons of their lives. They’re finding their voice, their identity, and their courage. RapVox Teen was built to guide them through that journey — to help them channel their energy into music, discipline, and performance.
Here, they don’t just train — they transform.”
